Waking up to Spring

Spring is appearing to peep round the corner and our creative plans and ideas are beginning to germinate and sprout into realities.

Dot and Ethel have been busily working away over the last few months on several key projects.

·         Tour booking Match! (A rework of our Christmas Show The Little Match Girl)

·         A trip to Denmark’s April Festival; the world’s largest Children’s festival of its kind.

·         Planning and developing relations for Yorick; as part of our Leverhulme Scholarship attached to the egg. As well as seeing lots of Theatre suitable for early years.

·         Planning a new piece for young audiences to encourage them to get outside and enjoy the outdoors, whatever the weather.

As part of this we’ve had some delightful conversations with visionary theatre practitioners, programmers and of course young people themselves. As time passes we remain incredibly focused on making the best work for young audiences, letting them become activity part of our work other more than simple receivers of adult ideas.

Soon it will be a time to step away from the planning and begin to create again. Our creative team simply can’t wait.
